Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is a procedure that places washed sperm past the cervix and into the uterus around the time of ovulation. Live birth rates from IUI vary from 1%–20%. Using fertility medications may improve the chance of success.
You can procure washed sperm from your partner through NTMIC Sperm Lab, Cryobank America, or a donor from a sperm bank. You will then monitor your physiological symptoms for ovulation and keep us updated so we can optimally time your insemination! This may include urine ovulation prediction tests, basal body temperature measurement, ultrasound examination, blood tests, and/or use of fertility medication(s).
